2023年1月，兰州大学李红玉教授团队在国际期刊 Phytotherapy research 发表题为 Rose essential oil diminishes dopaminergic neuron degenerations and reduces α-synuclein aggregation in Caenorhabditis elegans models of Parkinson's disease 的论文。

该研究发现玫瑰精油可以减少帕金森病模型中多巴胺能神经元的退化，并减少α-突触核蛋白的聚集。

这项研究使用秀丽隐杆线虫模型进行实验。

研究表明玫瑰精油可能具有潜在的治疗帕金森病的作用。
